Kauffman Amish Bakery Series

My Kauffman Amish Bakery series published by Zondervan features an Amish family in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Each book features a different member of the fictional Kauffman family.

Book #1, A Gift of Grace, debuted in 2009, and A Promise of Hope, Book #2, came out in May 2010. Book #3, A Place of Peace, was published in December 2010. The series will feature a total of five full-length books and two Christmas novellas. Book #4, A Life of Joy, debuted in February 2012. The 5th and final book, A Season of Love, hit bookshelves in June 2012. The two Christmas novellas are A Plain & Simple Christmas and Naomi’s Gift.

Throughout the series, the women in the books work in the fictional Kauffman Amish Bakery, which is located in Bird-in-Hand. Most of the men are carpenters who work at the fictional Kauffman & Yoder Furniture Store. All of the books in the series include authentic Amish recipes. The theme of the books center on hope, faith, and the importance of family.
